NEW CLASS! NUEVO TALLER! Register your Pre-Teen/Teens (ages 11-17) for this NEW Academia Bembé percussion and dance workshop, Son Jarocho, an Afro-Mexican tradition from Veracruz, led by teaching artist Linda Serna! Learn how to play jarana and Son Jarocho dance and also join us for Bembé family nights, public performances, community events, and more! All students who participate in this workshop during Academia Bembé's Spring 2024 semester will also have the opportunity to perform in Bembé's large, annual end-of-year production of "Journey the Atlantic/Viajando el Atlántico" on Friday, May 10th, 2024!

The total tuition cost for the full semester is $200 per student. Upon registering, you will have the option to pay your tuition in full or make $50 monthly payment. The initial monthly payment made upon registration then in the first week of February, March and April. We offer a sibling/additional family member discount of only $100 TOTAL tuition (only $100 for the full semester) for a second sibling/family member’s registration. For families with more than 2 participants registered, the additional tuition will be waived. This tuition discount includes youth, teen and adult classes. Family memberships will not exceed $300 per family of 2 or more.
