Academia Bembé Spring 2025: Adult Son Jarocho
Join us for our upcoming Academia Bembé Adult Session: Son Jarocho, an Afro-Mexican musical tradition from Veracruz with Bembé Teaching Artist, Linda Serna! Learn jarana and the traditional dance of Son Jarocho. These workshops are open to ages 18+, no experience necessary. Also, join us for Bembé family nights, public performances, community events and celebrations, and much more.

Session Dates: January 13th-May 10th, 2025
Days/Times: Mondays, 6:30-7:30pm
*There will be no classes the week of March 24-28, 2025 as Bembé will be on a spring break.
All workshops will be held at Bembé's Casa Cultural, located at 611 S. Layton Blvd., Milwaukee, 53215.
